Common Break-in Damage and Repair

Altic Lock Service  can repair most damages caused by forced-entry break-ins. The first photograph shows the damage to the door jamb in a recent break-in. The locks were undamaged. The metal-clad door was only slightly deformed, and was easily hammered back into shape. The second photograph shows the jamb repair in progress. The third photograph shows the completed repair, with new strikes installed with screws long enough to tie into the existing structural wall framing. A light sanding and repainting will have the door jamb better than new.
